Bed & Breakfast

Palazzo Buonaccorsi provides comfortable accommodation in 6 bedrooms which have the names of some members of the families who lived in the palace over the centuries. The rooms are all on the second floor, which has been divided in holiday rooms to sleep up to 14 persons. The rooms, all unique in style and size, are simply furnished with turn of the 20th century pieces, they are light and airy and provide comfortable basic accommodation, with an attentive eye to cleanness. Three of the rooms have their own private ensuite shower rooms, the other three rooms share a common bathroom, which make them particularly suitable for a family group or for a group of friends travelling together.

Palazzo Buonaccorsi has maintained most of its original features, such as terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, and original pieces of furniture. Besides constant works of maintenance, the building have never been fully refurbished and therefore has the peculiar character of a medieval residence. Shower rooms are not very spacious and there is no shower cubicle.

'Room 1 - Michele da Pisa'

This double room is light and airy and it is furnished in a simple typical Tuscan style, with a beautiful wrought iron bed, whitewashed walls, terracotta floors, and beamed ceiling. This room, whose window opens directly on the main street of San Gimignano (Via San Matteo), is the smallest of the residence. The external bathroom, which is right opposite the room, is shared with two other rooms (n. 3 and n. 5).

'Room 2 - Apollonia'

This double room with ensuite bathroom is particularly spacious and quiet, and has a warm and bright atmosphere. it is furnished in a simple typical Tuscan style, with whitewashed walls, beamed ceiling, and a typical white and red checker floor. The room is provided with a fridge, and enjoys a lovely view over the Public Park, La Rocca di Montestaffoli. Two single beds can be added on request to accommodate 2 extra persons.

'Room 3 - Francesco'

This double room is light and airy and it is furnished in a simple typical Tuscan style, with a beautiful wrought iron bed, whitewashed walls, terracotta floors and beamed ceiling. It has a double bed and an external bathroom in common with two other rooms (n. 1 and n. 5). A single bed can be added on request to accommodate one extra person. The window opens on the main street of San Gimignano, Via San Matteo.

'Room 4 - Giovanbattista'

This double room with ensuite bathroom is light and airy and it is furnished in a simple typical Tuscan style, with whitewashed walls, terracotta floors and vaulted ceiling. The charming atmosphere of this room makes it suitable for a romantic elopement, with flowers and chianti wine provided on request. A single bed can be added on request to accommodate a third person. The room is provided with a fridge.

'Room 5 - Giuseppe'

This room is very spacious and therefore particularly suitable for families and small groups of friends. It is furnished in a simple typical Tuscan style, with whitewashed walls, terracotta floors and beamed ceiling. It has a double bed (which converts to two twin beds on request) and two twin beds. Another single bed can be added on request to accommodate one extra person. This room has an airy feel and boasts two beautiful mullioned windows with two lights that open on the main street, Via San Matteo. The external bathroom is shared in common with two other rooms (n. 1 and n. 3).

'Room 6 - Pietro'

This double room with ensuite bathroom is light and airy and it is furnished in a simple typical Tuscan style, with whitewashed walls, terracotta floors and beamed ceiling. It has a double bed that converts in two single beds on request.
